SP1 brings additional stability and enhanced performance. It contains over 120 updates, all of which are designed to improve your user experience.
Some of the key updates in SP1 include:
SDL Package Technology
- An all-in-one file that can be easily created, sent and opened throughout the Translation Supply Chain (尚未測試)
- Increasing quality and reducing project creation time to allow more time for QA checks (這個存疑。目前業界直接使用 SDL 工具建立 project 的應該不多)
Over 120 updates to improve user experience
-For additional stability and improved performance (最重要的修正應該在此。我們使用 SDL Trados 2007 版時有發生過 TagEditor 與 Workbench 連結不穩的情形)

- Faster translate to fuzzy operation in TagEditor and superior term recognition (這個也是修正的重點。SDL Trados 的 TM concordance 功能比對蠻有問題的，有可能是 fuzzy match 的模型不夠完善或是資料庫不夠有效率，總覺得很不穩定。MultiTerm 就更別說了，尤其是輸入新 term 的時候主程式效率奇差無比，介面也很糟)
- Allowing for quicker translations and more dependable term recognition (尚未測試)
